I have an event coming up- when should I schedule my spray tan?

2-3 days before your event

How long does a spray tan last?

It is all in how well you prepare for the tan as well as take care of it afterwards. I normally say 7-10 days. Properly exfoliating prior and staying moisturized after is key. Having normal expectations about friction and tight clothes rubbing off your tan is a good thing to have as well. 

Can a pregnant woman get a spray tan?

Yes! Always ask your doctor, but it is the safest way to obtain a tan! 

I have multiple beauty services booked. What is the order in which I should get them?

Spray tans should always be the LAST beauty service! If you have a manicure and pedicure, waxing and facial scheduled, make sure they are before your tan. All of these services will take off your tan should you receive them afterwards. 

I have fair skin and never have a real tan and am worried about looking orange. 

I have had training in color theory and matching formulas to skin tones. A good spray tanner will never turn you orange! Inner Glow spray tans will NOT make you orange!

What should I wear during my appointment?

You may get undressed to whatever your comfort level is! You can go nude, or wear a thong, underwear, bikini, one piece bathing suit, shorts & tank top etc! Please note: males must have on undergarments.

Will this stain my sheets?

The possibility of spray tan transferring to your sheets is high before you have rinsed. I suggest sleeping completely covered, which also helps you to avoid any moisture from areas touching skin to skin while developing. 

Whenever I have gotten a spray tan, it fades unevenly. 

Fading is natural and happens as your skin sheds. The dryer your skin is; the quicker it sheds. Fading can also happen in areas where skin touches skin such as necks, under buttocks, under breasts and it also fades quicker on hands & face since they are washed so often. Staying moisturized is key. 

I'm a bride and want to get a spray tan for my big day! 

I always recommend a trial if you are unsure. This gives us the chance to perfect your perfect glow for your wedding day. A bachelorette party or shower is the perfect excuse for a trial. I suggest you always get your tan 2 days prior to any event; wedding included.

Will this clog my pores?

no! 

I'm going on vacation. Is a spray tan a good idea?

A spray tan is always a good idea! But for a vacation, it really helps you to feel comfortable enough to put that bikini or special outfit on. Please be wary of your time in chlorine; that will strip your tan. A tan extender is always recommended if you will be swimming! 

I'm an avid exerciser. When can I workout again?

After your first rinse which is 8-12 hours after your appointment. Things to keep in mind is that sweating makes a tan fade faster, and sometimes you can rub your tan off due to moisture from sweaty clothes and friction.
